Many children often bring their social and emotion problems into the classroom. Often times, these issues not only distract children from focusing on learning new skills, they also cause them to misbehave. When children are able to improve their Social and Emotional Intelligence, they can then handle their social and emotional issues more effectively, making them able to focus their full attention on learning. During this engaging training workshop, participants will discover and learn a variety of simple classroom strategies and activities for developing children’s Social and Emotional Skills. Using behavior guidance techniques, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the many physical and social-emotional needs of children and ultimately prevent unwanted behavior before they act out.
