It is truly a tragic event when a seemingly healthy infant dies suddenly and unexpectedly. And when the death happens in a child care program, it can be devastating; not only for the family of the child, but also for the child care provider and the other families in the program.
Safe infant sleep practices and environments reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, (SIDS), and other sleep-related infant deaths. Join us in learning the latest research in providing a safe sleep environment for infants and what support and resources there are available to providers and families.
Presented by Solano County Health Education Specialists.
