The Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) is a quality improvement project that delivers training and support for prospective and licensed family child care providers. Providers will receive a series of free workshops, assistance in understanding licensing requirements, technical support, mentoring, and virtual networking with other child care providers. Better understand the structure and purpose of the Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) and discover the ways in which this program will provide support and guidance as you become a licensed child care provider, how to use the Early Care & Education Workforce Registry, compare the similarities and differences between being a licensed provider and an exempt provider. Before the end of the session you will learn to evaluate the advantages of starting a new business, as well as the challenges of being a business owner, cover how to create a start-up plan and receive hands-on experience creating a business plan.

- Administration and Supervision: Participants will learn the business aspects of planning, finances and the legal aspects of a Family Child Care Home Business.

This cohort is ONLY open to participants living in CCRCs Service Area.Participants must attend Day 1 Introduction to The Child Care Initiative Project... session, to be admitted into cohort.

•ATTENDANCE CREDIT: This training does not supply attendees with a CERTIFICATE of Attendance. Attendees will receive credited hours through their registry account's Training Report 2-4 weeks after a training has concluded.
