In this session, we will explore how Family Child Care providers support children with exceptional learning disabilities. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, discuss challenges they may face, and learn from one another during the first 60 minutes of collaborative discussion and growth. The final 30 minutes are reserved for questions and open office hours, giving you the opportunity to receive personalized guidance and insights.

This is an Overview/Introductory This is a training for Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.

This training will cover:
  • Special Needs and Inclusion: Reflect on their own experiences and identify challenges in supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Early learning standards/foundations:
  • Infant Care (Birth - 18 Months)
  • Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
  • Preschool (3 - 5 Years)
  • Adults in ECE
Is this a Pathways Training? Yes
To receive credit, participants must attend the full hour and register through the ECE Registry. A 15-minute grace period is allowed.
