This is an In-depth This is a training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.

This training will cover:
- Health, Safety, and Nutrition: Participants will learn about best practices to support childcare program policies and practices addressing indoor and outdoor environmental health and safety.Participants will learn to share information with families about health practices and personal care routines in the early education setting, including safe sleep, nutrition, and lead poisoning prevention.

Must speak fluent English. Must attend all 8 hours of training NO partial credit or makeup days allowed. Must have camera ON and PARTICIPATE during the ENTIRETY of the training. Must live within the upper LA County CCRC community service area.
**Due to funding limitations, this training is ONLY open to residents of NORTHERN LOS ANGELES COUNTY.

This is online training. Please make sure you have access to the internet and audio. Please ensure that you log in 5-10 minutes before the training begins. NOTE: Attendance must be confirmed DURING the training. Participants will not be able to join the meeting 10 minutes after it has started. Participants must stay for the entire training and confirm their attendance DURING the training in order to receive credit.
As you will receive a certification for this class, attendees are required to be ON video and participate during the entirety of the training. All participants must be free of distractions (cell phone, children, vehicles, etc.) and allow for a learning environment throughout the training. For your safety we do not allow participants to attend training while in a vehicle. If it appears you are not participating or distracted, you could be removed from the training.
**Trainers have attendance and participation requirements that must be followed in order to obtain credit. Please follow the trainers instructions as presented in the beginning of the training.
*You must attend all 8 hours fully, to receive credit for attending this training.
**Attendees MUST speak English fluently in order to attend and receive certification.
***Participants will need to provide their own lunches.
