Inclusion Works serves as a guide on proven strategies that promote belonging and inclusion for all children. This publication provides resources that support strategies for successful inclusion suggestions along with examples of inclusive strategies. Participants will gain a copy of the publication “Inclusion Works” written and developed by California MAP to Inclusion & Belonging.

This is an Overview/Introductory This is a training for Teaching Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.
Prior Knowledge of experience needed:
- None
This training will cover:
- Special Needs and Inclusion: Participants will discuss Universal Design for Learning and its implications for curriculum and program planning.Participants will modify their programs policies to better support children with disabilities and developmental delays
Early learning standards/foundations:
- Infant Care (Birth - 18 Months)
- Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
- Preschool (3 - 5 Years)

This is an online training/event. Please log in 5-10 minutes before the training begins to make sure you have access to the internet, video, and audio.
Attendance credit will not be awarded to participants who:
• Enter 10-minute after the session start time.
• Leave for more than 10 minutes during the session.
• Leave 10 minutes early before the session ends.
We care about your safety. Participants should be free from distractions that will take away from your learning and must refrain from driving during our trainings.
•This training does not supply attendees with a CERTIFICATE of Attendance. Attendees will receive credited hours through their registry account's Training Report. Attendance is updated 2-4 weeks after a training has concluded.
