This training will cover:
  • Leadership in Early Childhood Education: Participants will identify theories of organizational change. Participants will create a decision-making process for incorporating diverse family goals and aspirations in their early learning and care programs.
  • Professionalism: Participants will connect current practices to evidence-based practices that promote positive outcomes for children. Participants will engage the community in discussions about program goals, philosophy, and objectives to craft policy and manage change.
Early learning standards/foundations:
  • Adults in ECE

Must complete the full 13 hours to receive credit for this training.
An introduction to communities of practice and a practical foundation to develop, plan, and facilitate CoPs in your community. Includes showcase presentations from experienced CoP facilitators who are currently implementing CoPs. Zoom link to be sent to registered participants before the start of the training.
