In this training & PLC, ECE educators will explore math learning in the early years, integrate math into the daily routine, and use unusual materials for math activities. Our focus will be on classification, patterning, number sense, and math operations. Through hands-on experience, small group reflection, and group activities, we will deepen how educators facilitate math learning for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

This is an Overview/Introductory training for Teaching Staff, Mentors and Professional Growth Advisors, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Trainers, Coaches.

- Learning Environments and Curriculum: Aligning vision and practice with strategies to enhance early math learning.Implementing engaging math activities based on best practices to promote social justice, equity, and inclusive math learning.Using inquiry, reflection, documentation, and assessment to deepen math learning and to connect families with their childrens learning.
