Understand the urgency to support and uplift Black children in ECE settings. 3. Connecting and relating to Black families in meaningful, supportive ways. 4. Disrupting the Status Quo to support the learningdevelopment for Black children. 5. Understanding biases, reflecting on upbringingexperiences, understanding social intersectionality, and cultivating empowering narratives.

OBJETIVOS:  Comprender y responder a los problemas de racismo e injusticia en los programas de ECE.  Comprender la urgencia de apoyar y animar a los niños negros en entornos de ECE.  Conectar y relacionarse con las familias negras de maneras significativas y de apoyo.  Interrumpir el “estatus-entre comillas” para apoyar el aprendizaje/desarrollo de los niños negros.  Comprender los sesgos, reflexionar sobre la educación/experiencias, comprender la interseccionalidad social y cultivar narrativas de empoderamiento.
