We are excited to bring this "Going Deeper" training to the City! For anyone who has been trained in the CA Teaching Pyramid, this workshop focuses on understanding the nine temperament traits first described by Alexander Thomas and Stella Chess. Learning about temperament traits can lead to a better understanding of a child''s internal drive for some behaviors. We will explore temperament from a variety of perspectives:

o Looking at temperament across cultures.
o Adult temperament and “Goodness of Fit”.
o Personality and temperament.
o Strategies that support children who have temperament characteristics that might be seen as “difficult”.
o How understanding temperament can help children thrive.
