We will review what a classroom environment can look like, when being intentional with the organization, arrangement, and quality of your materials in your program. Before the workshop ends, you will be able to connect areas of classroom organization, arrangement and quality of materials to your emotional, cognitive and adult-child interactions.

This is an In-depth training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.

This training will cover:
  • Learning Environments and Curriculum: Participants will learn how their environments impact childrens learning. Participants will learn about quality teacherchild interactions to enhance a childs language, development of concepts and creating feedback that is valuable for the child.
  • Relationships, Interactions, and Guidance: 1. Differences of how adults guide children through emotional supportive interactions, provide developmentally appropriate inquiry and support a childs learning through a properly organized program. 2. Review classroom environments that offer organization, arrangement and quality of materials.3. Connect areas of classroom organization, arrangement and quality materials to emotional, cognitive and adultchild interactions.

This training may be a one 2hr session and up to a 6hrs in 2 to 3 sessions. If the dates indicate more than one date, you must attend Day1 in order to attend Day2, and receive full credit. Please see SESSION DETAILS for all dates for this training.

Attendance credit will not be awarded to participants who:
