Infant nutrition is an integral part of a child’s development, healthy eating habits and crucial foundation to help nurture a secure attachment with their caregivers to support positive relationship building skills. During this training participants will learn about responsive feeding practices, will reflect how responsive feeding practices support lifelong healthy eating habits, and how to recognize and respond to an infant''''s hunger and fullness cues.

This is an Overview/Introductory training for Teaching Staff, Parents/Families, Family Child Care Providers, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.

This training will cover:
  • Health, Safety, and Nutrition: Participants will learn what responsive feeding practices are and how to implement them in their centers. Participants will identify and reflect how responsive feeding practices support lifelong healthy eating habits. Participants will learn why responsive feeding practices support a healthy development. Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to an infant''s hunger and fullness cues.
