This is an In-depth training for Teaching Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.
Prior knowledge or experience needed:

This training will cover:
- Relationships, Interactions, and Guidance: 1. Understand how to support teaching staff to use Positive Descriptive Acknowledgement to promote appropriate behavior, build relationships, and improve communication. 2. Practice ways to develop “program-wide” expectations for children, staff, and families. 3. Explore ways to use visual strategies with children for schedules, routines, and expectations. 4. Practice ways to increase and support teacher reflection around social-emotional development and classroom management.
