In this professional development series, participants will: Understand and utilize the structure and features of the Scientific Inquiry Strand, in the Science Domain of the Preschool Learning Foundations (PLF) and the Preschool Curriculum Framework (PCF).
Explore the integrated nature of learning in Scientific Inquiry, such as language and literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional skills.
Discuss how the process of scientific inquiry facilitates experiences for expanding vocabulary and using language in engaging contexts, especially for dual language learners and children with special needs.
Explore strategies and interactions for dual language learners. Understand how to utilize strategies and interactions for children with special needs.
