This is an In-depth training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers, Home Visitors.

This training will cover:
  • Child Development and Learning: Participants will learn about the following: Children''s executive function and how it affects behavior and other life skills. Better understand the critical role of cognition and how children acquire knowledge Strategies to support children''s development in their early thinking skills and cognitive development
Early learning standards/foundations:
  • Infant Care (Birth - 18 Months)
  • Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
  • Preschool (3 - 5 Years)
  • Transitional Kindergarten (4 - 5 Years)
  • Cognitive Development

THIS IS A LIVE IN-PERSON TRAINING. Please arrive at the session 10 to 15 minutes before the training begins to ensure you get a seat on time.

NOTE: Per CCRC training agency guidelines, a participant will NOT receive credit for attending a session, in accordance with the following:

· Arrive 10 minutes late than the training start time.
· Leave 10 minutes or earlier from a training session.
· Leave during training for more than 10 minutes without returning.

Participants must be free of distractions. Please put your cell phone on silent or vibrate, out of respect for others participating during the training.
