This is an training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Faculty, Special Educators/Early Interventionists, Home Visitors, Trainers, Coaches.
Prior knowledge or experience needed:
This training will cover:
- Observation, Screening, Assessment, and Documentation
Early learning standards/foundations:
- Infant Care (Birth - 18 Months)
- Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
- Preschool (3 - 5 Years)

Learn About: Purpose of observation; Observing & collecting evidence; Organizing a classroom observation system; Reviewing & reflecting on documentation; Rating the DRDP
Requirements:
This is a 2-part training. Participants must attend both parts (December 7th and 14th) to earn professional growth hours. Partial credit will not be provided.
ECE units available: After completing the 2-part training and college assignment, participants are eligible to applu to CSU Channel Islands for 0.5 ECE unit. Cost of unit from CSU CI is $100.
