Talking with Parents When You Have Concerns Caregivers, (anyone providing childcare or out-of-school care for children) will learn to have a meaningful conversation when they have concerns that a child in their care might have a developmental delay, disability, or significant behavior problem.

Participants will learn

• How to have a meangiful conversation when concerns arise

• How to prepare and share concerns

• The different ways a family may respond

• Next steps after expressing a concern

• Resource that might be available

This is an Overview/Introductory training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers, Resource & Referral Staff, Coaches.
