Learn the most effective strategies to prevent the spread of germs in your program including proper hand washing, cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing different materials, using diapering best practices and avoiding and preventing health hazards. This training meets the CCL Healthy Schools Act 2020 requirement.

This is an Overview/Introductory training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.

This training will cover:
- Health, Safety, and Nutrition: Attendees will learn how to: • properly clean, disinfect and sanitize their child care environment. • use best practices to diaper infants and toddlers. • keep children safe by avoiding and preventing health hazards.
Early learning standards/foundations:
- Infant Care (Birth - 18 Months)
- School Age/Elementary (Kindergarten - 6th grade)
- Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
- After-School/Out-of-School Time
- Preschool (3 - 5 Years)
- Transitional Kindergarten (4 - 5 Years)
