This is an In-depth training for Teaching Staff, Health Providers, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Faculty, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.
Prior knowledge or experience needed:

This training will cover:
  • Culture, Diversity, and Equity: Participants will learn strategies to intentionally integrate culturally nutritious food, music to help increase movement, and activities that promote their native language.
  • Health, Safety, and Nutrition: Participants will learn about different family engagement strategies to purposely increase nutrition and physical activity in their program.
  • Family and Community Engagement: Participants will learn the importance of selfbelonging practices and its benefits on young children.
